HOW TO PREPARE FOR A JOB INTERVIEW
A LIST OF USEFUL LINKS TO HELP YOU PREPARE
I’ve collected a number of links which you might find useful when preparing for your job interview. Far too often I see candidates leave the interview feeling that the did not prepare well enough for the interview. These candidates are not called back for a second interview.
You have managed to get through to an interview. Well done! So far, you have demonstrated to the employer, that you are worthwhile to talk to. So far so good. So why not go all the way and prepare for a win at the interview itself?
What this will take is proper planning meaning research, research, research, and preparation, preparation, preparation. Because, as we all know: ‘Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance.’
Before the job interview, you need to do your homework. It’s not enough to go to the company’s website and browse through it.
So unless you’re not really interested in getting the job at hand, you need to know the company’s business model, their present business plan, ownership, overall strategy, the main challenges, the main competitors, their ability to make money, their ability to renew the business model, and so on.
Further, you have to meet up for the interview in mental a condition showing that you WANT the job!Søren Leth-Nissen
